Nor Ba'yah Abdul Kadir is a faculty member of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (National University of Malaysia). She was awarded a young scholar fellowship in 2010.

She has research interests in adult attachment styles to depression, subjective well-being, vulnerability-provoking agent model of depression, trauma, and PTSD.

Her current research is about reconstructing adult attachment style measures in a Malaysian context. She has completed action research on attachment styles among undergraduate students.
